A graduate of the Crawford College of Art and Design, Mary is a designer maker working in the field of ceramics based on simple organic forms.
Mary works mainly with porcelain because of its strength, density and purity. It also allows her to achieve translucency.
Work varies from specially commissioned pieces to a design range including lighting, framed work and bottle forms. Work is finished to a very high standard and each piece has unique hand made qualities and subtle design variations.
Recently Mary became the proprietor of the Blue Pool Gallery in Killarney where she stocks a unique collection of contemporary arts and crafts from National and International makers. This new venture will provide an educational facility where individuals/groups can explore their creativity.
